Today, we are pleased to announce a new collaborative video that we have been working on about life extension!

After our successful partnership with Kurzgesagt, engaging more science popularizers seemed like a good idea, so for the last couple of months, we have been working with popular YouTube channel Life Noggin to help its producers create a video that focuses on life extension and aging. Life Noggin is a channel focused on educating people about science and the world around us in a fun and informative way by using a unique animation style.

Engaging with the public about the topic of increasing healthy lifespans through advanced medicine is central to our mission as well as the mission of other organizations in this field. However, our resources as a non-profit are very limited, which is why it is vital for us to constantly think of ways to scale up each of our educational projects.

Constantly increasing our representation on social media is a necessity (by the way, we are close to 100k followers on Facebook and plan to celebrate it soon with an event that you will hopefully like). However, there are plenty of opportunities to reach out to even more people through the medium of video.

By working with popular YouTube channels and celebrities that already have millions of subscribers interested in science, we can reach out to new audiences, engage them, and get them thinking about the possibilities of a future in which age-related diseases are a thing of the past. It’s possible that the people who learn about rejuvenation technologies because of these collaborations will stand by our side to support the researchers and strengthen our movement!

Engaging the public through science popularizers

This is not the first time that we have reached out to new audiences using the medium of collaborative films on YouTube; some of you may recall last year that we worked with popular science channel Kurzgesagt to produce two high-quality films about aging and what science might do about ending age-related diseases.

Each of these films has around four million views by now, and we think that this is pretty substantial coverage. Have a look if you haven’t seen them yet, and if you like them, please share them with your friends and family! The more people that are aware of the progress in rejuvenation research, the more our society will be prepared for the moment when they arrive!

Together, we can do more

We are able to make films like this thanks to the support of our monthly patrons, the Lifespan Heroes, and we will continue to make more such videos in the future as we grow, but you can help us to do even more. By supporting us as a Lifespan Hero, you can help us to keep working with popular YouTube channels and boosting the signal on this important topic. We can go faster if we work together!
